Taken during the annual deer rut at Knole Park (Sevenoaks)

As a wildlife photographer, I’m always looking and hoping for the best lighting. I was fortunate on this occasion to have some mist in the background for this rim lit Fallow Buck to almost ‘look into’. In this scene the sun is just peeping through and illuminating the mist and foreground bringing out textures in the fallen leaves.
